Tama Bell Interior Designer
Tama grew up in Marin with parents in the building and design fields. She founded Tama Bell Design in 1998, because from an early age she understood that space matters and well designed spaces are vital to the overall quality of our life.
She looks at the design process in four steps or phases; architectural styling, space planning, material specifications and finally furnishings. Tama Bell Design takes a "big picture" approach to design, starting with architectural styling or what the house presents from the exterior, looking at the foundational element of the floor plan and its' function, curating the material specifications or surfaces and then planning and implementing the furnishings, art and accessories to create spaces that are both beautiful and function well.
“Our niche is designing simple, smart floor plans that embody the California lifestyle. We incorporate timeless materials and classic design elements that speak to a natural, modern simplicity through the use of wood, stone, pattern, texture, and vintage accents and collections. We add pops of color through the use of textiles, floor coverings and art. “
