Broyhill Dresser Renovation

Broyhill Dresser Before After living with my mother’s hand me down bedroom set for the last 18 years, I decided it was time to update the classic piece.

For those of you who do not know Broyhill furniture, the manufacturer has been associated with fine-quality furniture for more than a century. It is one of the most recognized furniture makers in history

My vision was to paint the entire dresser in a soft grey, accent the molding on the drawers and install new knobs.

Benjmain Moore Titanium Paint


I used 2 coats of Benjamin Moore Flat Mat Titanium paint.

I silver leafed the inside trim to accentuate the detailed craftsmanship and tie in the Titanium color.

Satin Spray

Once the paint and silver leaf had 48 hours to dry I added a satin gloss finish to the dresser.

Finally I added two different Old World classic pulls (BMH-36037 and BMH-36094) from

Final Image

The final look is refined and updated. This Broyhill Fontana dresser is now an upscale version of it’s old self and one that will now hopefully live another 18 years in my bedroom!
